Chapel March 5 – Kelsey Herber

Kelsey Herber is a 2016 graduate of Huntington University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Media and minored in Psychology. After playing volleyball at HU for 4 years, she became a graduate assistant coach for the program while pursuing her Masters Degree in Counseling through HU’s graduate program. During this time, she also worked in HU’s admissions office. She then graduated with her Masters in 2019 and transitioned into being named the Head Volleyball Coach. She is also one of the therapists in the counseling office on campus. Kelsey is passionate about coaching, counseling, and speaking. The fact that she has the opportunity to do all 3 of these things at a place she calls home is something she prays she never fails to be grateful for.

Kelsey also coaches at Empowered Volleyball Academy in Fort Wayne and works summer volleyball camps with Purdue University. One of her favorite things to do is co-host the television program Restoration Road with her dad Mitch Kruse. You can check it out on NBC 33 on Sunday mornings at 7:30 AM or online.

Kelsey is married to her best friend Zach Herber who is a 2017 graduate of HU’s Psychology program and a 2019 graduate of HU’s Graduate Counseling program as well. He is currently the RD of Forester Village as well as a therapist in Fort Wayne. Kelsey likes to refer to herself as the First Lady of Forester Village and Zach as the First Man of Forester Volleyball.”
