Upcoming Retirement Plan Changes

As we previously announced, Huntington University has joined with other member institutions from the Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) to establish a single retirement plan called a 403(b) Multiple Employer Plan (MEP).  Please note our investments will still be with TIAA.

Based on the significance of the upcoming changes in our retirement plan and new investment options available, we recently held several group meetings to discuss these changes.

  • What the 403(b) Multiple Employer Plan is
  • Why Huntington University has chosen to adopt the MEP
  • A look at the new 403(b) MEP features
  • Timeline of when the changes will take place, what to expect and how the retirement plan will work going forward
  • Decisions that must be made by all active retirement plan participants
  • New investment menu
  • Options available to guide you throughout the process

If you were unable to attend one of these informative meetings, you can view the meeting clicking here.

We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to meet privately to discuss the best options for you in planning for your retirement.  Financial advisors from Millennium will be available during March and April to meet privately with employees to answer questions about the change, offer financial planning, to provide counseling and advice, and the optional Managed Account Solution.
