Chili Cook-Off Contest Results
The 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off was held last Thursday, and everyone had a great time! We had 12 Crock Pots full of chili or soup and enjoyed several “yummies” (that’s David Mays’ terminology!!) for dessert.
First place in the chili category went to Nathan Hawkins, first place in the soup category went to Kay Schwob, and first place in the YUMMIES or dessert category went to Alicia Ayoub. If you had been there and tasted her BROWNIE PIE, you would have understood the use of the word YUMMIES.
Thanks to everyone who participated – I think now that Stephen Weingart realizes just how serious this competition is, I fully expect to see an entry from him in next year’s Chili Cook-Off.
