MEN’S BASKETBALL

The Huntington University men’s basketball team will host all HCCSC 5th graders as part of its second annual Integrity Day against East-West University on December 17. Tip-off is slated for noon.

Over 300 Huntington County 5th graders along with their teachers and chaperones will participate in the event. The day will start with a program at 10:00 a.m. where local pastor Josh Kesler will introduce students to the NAIA’s Five Core Values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership after which students will invade Platt Arena to cheer on the Foresters.

“We are super excited to host ‘Integrity Day’ again,” said Coach Ty Platt. “The opportunity to speak with and showcase the men of integrity and character who we have in our basketball program to all HCCSC 5th graders is tremendous.

“It will be a fun day on our campus.”

The Foresters are currently 6-5 overall. Platt and crew are wrapping up 2019 by heading to Florida later in the week to play two more games before Christmas.
