HU senior Sarah Fryman was tabbed this week’s Crossroads League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon.

In HU’s season opener on Tuesday, Fryman (Huntington North HS, Huntington, IN) netted 24 points in her team’s 79-77 overtime upset over #4 Indiana Tech. The 5-9 forward followed that up with a 27-point performance in a 77-52 routing of Cornerstone over the weekend.

For the week, Fryman averaged 25.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals to guide Culler’s crew to a perfect 2-0 start to the season.

The Foresters hit the road on Tuesday to face Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m.
