WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Forester women’s tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of their schedule with a 6-1 road loss to Hillsdale College. For the Chargers, whose main season is in the spring, it was their first dual match of the year.

Meg Dolde picked off Hannah Cimpeanu, 6-2, 6-3, at #1 singles to account for HU’s only point of the afternoon. Prior to Dolde’s singles win, she teamed up with Morgan Fitzpatrick at the top spot in doubles to beat Katie Bell and Cimpeanu 6-2 but the point went to Hillsdale as the other two matches favored the hosts.

Huntington wraps up the fall with an overall record of 9-7.
