WOMEN’S TENNIS
The 4th-seeded HU women’s tennis team suffered a 5-1 loss to top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan Thursday afternoon in the semifinals of the Crossroads League tournament. The win sends the Wildcats to the championship match while the loss brings an end to the Foresters’ tourney run.
Senior Meg Dolde picked up Huntington’s lone win on the day with a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Maddie Bemisderfer at the No. 1 spot in singles action.
The Foresters wrap up the fall portion of their schedule on Tuesday with a match at Hillsdale. HU’s record stands at 9-6 on the year.
