Ninjas With A Plan

Your creative ninjas have formulated a plan, and if you pay attention to your email, you’ll see what we are talking about. We have created a schedule that slates each department with an 8-week time frame in which we focus marketing efforts on updated webpages, creating/updating department brochures, and updating department snapshots. We are excited about this plan because it allows departments to know when to expect to hear from us concerning these items AND it gives us a method to the madness.

How can you help make things go smoothly? Glad you asked. You can start by making sure you respond to the forthcoming email from Nicole Manges. Her email will prompt you with some data/questions that you need to have researched or answered by the time we meet, and it will have meeting scheduling information.

Also, fun fact: The Ask University Relations form is a great place to submit student and alumni stories. We need those stories! You would be amazed at how many student and alumni stories it takes to put together marketing materials, social campaigns, and web content. If you know about something cool a student or alum is up to, please tell us!

* Completed the design and order for the first phase of the new broadcast space decor
* Pitched 3 press stories
* Rolled out the social media strategy for #ForesterHomecoming
* Designed and ordered a host of assets for the major event taking place on campus on Oct. 17
* Written and planned the final details for said event
* Completed the assets for Homecoming
* Strategized the Parent Newsletter content for the academic year
* Ordered all the final elements of the undergrad apply and acceptance packets
* Strategized the plans for StoryCon
* Finalized the President’s Report
* Strategized the November HU Magazine
