Signs & Wonders Film Screening

Friday, September 20, 7-9:30 pm in the 3rd floor Becker Screening Room (305) we launch this fall’s Signs & Wonders Film Screenings. This semester’s screenings will be hosted by the Faith, Film & Culture class. The first screening of the series will be the 1996 Sundance Audience Award Winner, “The Spitfire Grill” (information below).

Film Instructor Matt Webb will moderate the event with special guest panelists from Place of Grace, a stable, safe, and encouraging home environment for women re-entering the community following incarceration. The event is free to the HU community.

“The Spitfire Grill” – When Percy Talbott is released from prison into the small town of Gilead, Maine both she and the community must come to terms with her past and the town’s future.
