WOMEN’S TENNIS

The HU women’s tennis team is a perfect three-for-three against IU Kokomo. The Foresters have played the Cougars the last three years and have come away with the W each time with the latest a 6-1 decision Friday afternoon.

The match was originally slated to be played at Klopfenstein Courts on Thursday but storms pushed it to Friday and ended up being played at Kokomo which didn’t seem to faze Ferguson’s crew. After sweeping doubles for their first point, the Foresters won five of their six singles matches to cruise to their second straight win and a 5-3 record.

HU will have their work cut out for them tomorrow when they host #9 Indiana Wesleyan at 10:00 a.m.
