For the second straight week, Huntington University junior Adrien Gentie was tabbed the NAIA Men’s Runner of the Week as announced by the national office earlier today.

Gentie was the overall champion of the IWU Twilight Invitational on Friday evening. His winning time of 24:39.7 is currently the fastest 8K time on record this fall in the NAIA as well as in the top ten across all college divisions.

It was a new PR for Gentie with his nearest competitor more than 20 seconds behind him. His average mile time for the 8K was 4:57.7.

The Foresters brought home the Twilight Invitational title with a collective time of 2:08.43. Next up for Johnson’s crew is the Rumble in the Fort on Friday afternoon.
