Ninjas at Work: What’s in the Creative Queue
Your creative ninjas are hard at work.
This week we are focusing on some very large and very small assets for our OTD team so that they can showcase our Arizona OTD location at an upcoming conference in Phoenix! From a 10×12 foot display to a counter to a brochure to a stainless steel straw, HU will be well represented in the Grand Canyon State.
We are also completing all the components for the new undergraduate admissions acceptance materials! Remember the “Welcome Home” look of the billboards on US24 and I69? Yeah, that’s the look and feel of the all the undergraduate materials this year, and that means completely recreating all of the materials they use to communicate with prospective students (which is a lot of materials!).
Speaking of billboards, if you drive US24 and I69 over the next week, keep your eyes open yet again for new billboards!
But wait, there’s (lots) more!
* We are working with Danielle Shafer on all things Homecoming. From the web content to publicity to swag to an artistic unveiling, the Office of University Relations has Homecoming spirit!
* The annual President’s Report is well underway.
* The new HU sign on US24 has new messaging.
* Verse of the Year magnets, Foundation Breakfast brochures, and MCA event brochures have all come in recently and are being distributed.
* Press releases for activity in AZ have been sent out and picked up by our partners in the region.
* A partnership between the Fort Wayne Komets and HU has been formed that gives students, faculty, and staff some fun perks (stay tuned to social media for those details).
* The first official HU Ambassador newsletter has been sent out with positive results already being felt online. Visit huntington.edu/Ambassador for details.
And in case you are one of those people who have a deep appreciation for analytical info, web traffic on our site is up! For example, when comparing August to July, homepage traffic is up over 44% and our visit webpage traffic is up almost 60%. Looking at departments, Education is up 154%, Nursing is up 40%, OTA is up 32%, and Ag is up 27% (and other programs are up as well; I just didn’t think it was realistic to list them all here).
This is only a small snapshot of what the ninjas are up to, but rest assured, we are hard at work promoting all things HU!
