MEN’S TENNIS

For the second time this season, the Forester men’s tennis team blanked a conference opponent with today’s 7-0 W coming at the expense of Mount Vernon Nazarene at Klopfenstein Courts. HU’s first sweep was against Saint Francis on Saturday.

The day saw straight sets wins except at No. 3 singles where Sabastian Salas mounted an impressive come-from-behind win, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0, over Drew Jackson. Huntington moves to 3-4 overall, 3-2 in league play. The loss leaves the Cougars still searching for their first league win as they drop to 1-5 overall, 0-5 in CL action.

The Foresters now turn their attention to a home match against #22 IWU on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
