Move-In Day for New Students

Move-In Day is Thursday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.! We have many eager students ready to move into their new residence halls, and we would love to have you join us in welcoming our new Foresters to campus!

We’d like to show some Forester hospitality by recruiting as many folks as possible across campus and helping our new students move items from their cars to their rooms (or we have other less physically demanding tasks if you prefer!). Your help would be much appreciated!

Please email Nick Kight at nkight@huntington.edu to be added to the list of volunteers. Generally, we recommend helping for the morning shift (9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) or the afternoon shift (11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.). If you can’t help during those windows, no worries; just let us know what times work best for your schedule.

We ask all volunteers to meet in the Welcome Center to pick up your t-shirt and be assigned to a residence hall in need of help. Feel free to email Nick Kight with any questions you might have concerning Move-In Day.
