Interim VP & Dean
Dr. Luke Fetters has been named Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty for the 19-20 academic year. Dr. Fetters will join colleagues Dr. Lance Clark, Associate Dean for the Arts, Dr. Tanner Babb, Associate Academic Dean, and Dr. Ruth Ford, Associate Dean for Health Sciences, in academic leadership for the institution. Dr. Fetters will begin his new duties on August 1.
Dr. Fetters has held positions of leadership in global studies and the graduate school, most recently as dean of graduate and professional programs. He holds the rank of professor and has been a faculty member in the Ministry and Missions Department for many years.
Dr. Fetters and the academic leadership team will oversee all graduate and undergraduate programs. Applications are currently being accepted to identify a leader who will provide administrative and strategic direction for graduate and professional programs, combining parts of the roles currently held by Dr. Fetters and Julie Goetz. Julie is transitioning to the newly-configured role of Instructional Designer for Graduate & Professional Programs, a position that she was eager to tackle.
