Battle of the Businesses – Pickleball!

Pickleball! Another event of the 2019 YMCA Battle of the Businesses. Sign up by Monday, June 3. The event takes place Saturday, June 8, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Huntington Memorial Park Outdoor Courts. Two-person teams consist of men’s, women’s, or coed. No experience necessary! Pickleball is similar to tennis, ping pong, and badminton but on a court smaller than a tennis court. Watch this video for a quick introduction to the sport.

HU employees who participate in at least 3 Battle Events throughout the year will receive a $25 gift card for the HU Bookstore. Participate in at least 5 events and you will receive a $50 gift card for the HU Bookstore.

Battle events are free for employees to participate. HU will pay the enrollment fee. The event is all about building community with fellow Huntington faculty/staff and local businesses. If you are interested in participating, email Jean Cole at jcole@huntington.edu.
