ICI Student Lobby Day Reflections

This Tuesday I had the privilege of accompanying four of our excellent students to the Indiana State House to participate in the Independent Colleges of Indiana Student Lobby Day. The purpose of this event is to thank and encourage local legislators for providing generous state aid funding.

While this act is very important, I was most encouraged by the attitude, behavior, and maturity of my company. These young people are passionate about their future goals, curious about the world around them, and committed to our Lord and His service.

Thanks to Will, Jordan, Heath, and Aubriana for reminding me of HU’s mission and purpose this week, and for seeking a life of Christ, Scholarship, and Service. Thanks to faculty, staff, and coaches who are leading our students toward this mission daily.
