Social Media accounts are fun like a puppy but complicated like a dog.

It seems like a great idea to start a social media page for your department or program and manage it yourself, but creating content, building an audience, filling the summer months, training a team, etc… all those things make that cute little puppy named Facebook turn into a dog of a responsibility.

University Relations wants to take that needy dog off of your To Do List by reminding you that 1) the main university Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn are always happy to accept information about department/program/club news, events, photos, etc. and 2) any adopting of a social media puppy must be approved by University Relations. Just like adopting a real puppy, creating a new social media account that is in any way related to the university requires a real application.
