Transitions in Graduate Counseling Program
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jerry Davis will rejoin the faculty of the Graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Huntington University on March 1, 2019. Dr. Davis is no stranger to Huntington University. He served in a variety of student development roles from 1980 to 1994, and he returned to HU from 2007 to 2017 to launch the graduate counseling program. For the past two years, Dr. Davis has been employed as clinical programs manager at Parkview Behavioral Health in Fort Wayne. We are excited that Dr. Davis has decided to bring his classroom and clinical skills back to Huntington University.
Dr. Mike Cook has informed us that he will be leaving Huntington University at the end of this academic year. Dr. Cook has been a valuable and versatile colleague since he came to Huntington in 2009. In addition to teaching, Dr. Cook has helped oversee the LifeSpring clinic and a broad range of other clinical experiences for students. Dr. Cook will continue his academic career at Houston Baptist University, where he will teach in their MA in Christian Psychology program. Please let Dr. Cook know he’ll be missed as you see him on campus this semester.
