The Crossroads League announced earlier this afternoon that Forester senior Adam Roser has been named this season’s first Crossroads League Baseball Player of the Week.

Roser helped guide HU to three wins on opening weekend. In game one against Milligan on Friday, he roped a double down the right-field line in the seventh to drive in a pair of runs which included the tying run. He posted another clutch hit in the nightcap, this time a two-run single in the sixth that proved the game-winner.

On Saturday against Concordia, Roser added an insurance run in the fourth by doubling in a run. For the weekend, the Roann native collected five hits and five RBI. He posted a .625 batting average and an .875 slugging mark in three contests.

Next up for the Foresters (3-0) is a four-game series on February 22-23 at IU Southeast.
