WOMEN’S TENNIS
The Crossroads League announced its 2018 women’s tennis All-Conference Team and among the list of honorees were junior Meg Dolde and freshman Morgan Fitzpatrick.
As HU’s No. 1 player, Dolde chalked up her third straight All-Conference honor. She posted a 5-4 record in singles action in Crossroads League play and finished the fall season with an overall singles record of 10-6.
Fitzpatrick was a staple at Huntington’s No. 2 spot in singles play where she racked up five wins against two losses against her league peers. She boasted an overall singles record of 11-4 this fall.
The tandem teamed up to represent the Foresters at #1 doubles for all but two matches. Dolde finished with a doubles record of 7-2 in league play and 13-3 record overall while the rookie Fitzpatrick went 6-1 in league play and 12-2 overall. Together they paced their team to a third place finish in the Crossroads League regular season standings.
Huntington finished the fall with an overall record of 9-4 and league record of 6-3.
