Top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan knocked the 4th-seeded Forester men’s tennis team out of the Crossroads League tournament Thursday afternoon at Sutter Tennis Center by handing their visitors a 5-1 loss in semifinal action of the tourney.

Sebastian Salas and Giovanni Martinez teamed up for their team’s only W of the day by claiming an 8-6 win over Tyler Abbott and Andrew Block at No. 3 doubles.

The Foresters advanced to the semis by sending 5th-seeded Spring Arbor home with a 5-2 loss last night in the quarterfinals of the league tourney. Eckert’s crew wraps up the fall portion of their schedule with an overall record of 8-5.
