WOMEN’S TENNIS

The 3rd-seeded Forester women’s tennis team made quick work of 6th-seeded Bethel College on opening day of the Crossroads League tournament by sweeping the visiting Pilots 9-0. With this win, HU improves to 9-3 and advances to the semifinals of the tourney.

The W is Huntington’s second over Bethel this season. Just a week prior, Ferguson’s crew handed the Pilots a 6-3 loss to wrap up the regular season. HU is currently riding an eight-match win streak over their league peers from Mishawaka.

Huntington travels to 2nd-seeded Marian tomorrow for a noon appointment with the Knights in semifinal action of the league tournament.
