MEN’S TENNIS

The Huntington men’s tennis team wrapped up the regular season by blanking Taylor University (3-9, 3-6). It’s the Foresters’ fifth sweep of the year as they improve to 7-4 overall, 6-3 in league play.

By and large, the Foresters made quick work of their visitors, especially at the last three singles spots, where HU gave up just a combined four sets.

The final league standings have Coach Eckert’s crew sitting in the fourth spot for the Crossroads League tournament. First up in the tourney will be a matchup with 5th-seeded Spring Arbor, who just beat Grace to climb ahead of the Lancers for that spot, on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. on Klopfenstein Courts.
