MEN’S TENNIS

The HU men’s tennis team has had their way with Spring Arbor in recent years, and Thursday afternoon at Jones Tennis Complex was no different as the Foresters cruised to a 7-2 victory over their hosts.

Coach Eckert’s crew has not lost to the Cougars in six years. Yesterday’s win marks their seventh straight over SAU. The last time Spring Arbor enjoyed a win over HU was a 7-2 tilt back in October of 2012.

The Foresters are off to a great start as they improve to 2-0 overall and in league play as both Ws are against CL opponents. Next up for Huntington is a clash with Marian on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Indianapolis.
