Move-In Help

HU is known for being welcoming and friendly to our incoming students. One way we show our new students that they’re welcome here is by helping them move into their residence halls when they arrive! This longstanding tradition makes a huge impact on our new students and their families. The past few years we haven’t had quite as much staff or faculty involvement as we did in the past, and with a big incoming class, we need all the hands we can get!

Please email Susanne (swatson@huntington.edu) to let her know if you’re able to help. We will need help from 10am-4pm, so we will be doing 2-hour time slots (10a-12p, 12p-2p, 2p-4p). Most students tend to arrive early, so we’ll need the most help during the first shift, and not much help during the last shift.

As a thank you for investing your time and sweat, we’ll provide a t-shirt for each volunteer!
