Welcoming Chris Montany

University Relations has added a new member to the team! Please join me in welcoming Huntington University’s Website Content Manager, Chris Montany.

Chris is excited to be part of the Huntington University team as the Website Content Manager. With a drive to solve problems and create solutions, Chris looks forward to what he can do for the university website. He will see to it that the website runs as efficiently as possible, that the information is always up-to-date, and that it can be easily navigated by users.

Chris Montany joined the Huntington University team in the summer of 2018 after spending two years as a freelance application developer. Chris graduated from Texas State Technical College in 2011 with an Associate of Applied Science in Web Development. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University (2015).

After graduating, Chris spent time designing websites, creating technical solutions for company’s needs, and led the business intelligence initiative for Moorehead Communications in Marion, Indiana. During this time, he worked closely with businesses to help advance their websites so that they could be more efficient.
