Junior Adam Roser’s grand slam in the bottom of the fourth highlighted a six-run inning and the HU baseball team’s 13-5 win over Grace College (14-25, 5-15) Tuesday evening at Forester Glen.

In addition to his mighty swing, the Wabash native collected a fifth RBI in the fifth on a sacrifice fly. Hunter Losekamp put together his own highlight reel to rival Roser.

The senior catcher doubled in a pair of runs in the third, registered an RBI-single in the fourth and knocked in a fourth run in the fifth by way of a second two-bagger. When all was said and done, he finished with four hits, three of which were doubles, and four RBI on the night.

Huntington’s overall offensive numbers were notable. They went 13-for-34 at the plate which included five hits for extra bases and drew seven walks to score double-digit runs for the fifth time this season.

Other Forester contributions included Jake Hansen posting three hits and an RBI. Nick Davit added an RBI-single while Donovan Clark recorded two hits, including the game’s only triple, and scored three times.

Ryan Bethel, in his second start within the week, earned the win on the hump. The leftie gave up six hits, five runs, four earned, and three walks while striking out two in 6.1 innings of work for his first collegiate W.

With this win, Huntington improves to 16-17 overall, 14-5 in league play while the Lancers drop their seventh straight for a 5-30 record overall, 5-15 record in conference action.

Frame’s crew is back in action tomorrow afternoon to host #RV Taylor at 5PM in a critical matchup with second place in the league standings on the line.
