Dr. Brautigam in AZ – ‘History’ in the Making during HUAZ J-Term

It’s not every day Arizona gets the opportunity to have a Huntington Professor make the trek West to teach a course. In August we had the first privilege of Dr. Alexander teaching a Philosophy course, which the students loved! After that wonderful experience, we knew that we needed to continue providing these opportunities for our Arizona students to interact with our HU Professors.

This J-Term we had 27 eager #HUAZ students sign up for Dr. Brautigam’s interactive history course! From day one, our students jumped right in by getting into character, bringing props, and even dressing up for the occasion. Down the hall you could hear the students laughing and chanting ‘Don’t Surrender!’ or ‘Kill them All!’. For those of you not aware, every Wednesday night we host Game Night with our students. They are all obsessed with games, so having the opportunity to play games in their history course was right up their alley.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience this J-Term and look forward to having more HU professors come to Arizona!
