Christmas Decorating Contest/Tour

The Community Enhancement Council invites you to get into the Christmas spirit by decorating your department’s office or common area! Our theme this year is “Movies of Christmas Past.” Choose a favorite Christmas movie and decorate your office or common area to reflect elements of that film. Examples include but are not limited to “White Christmas,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” and “A Christmas Story.” We encourage you to be creative with decorations you already have for your office or home rather than purchasing all new decorations.

On Friday, December 6, the campus will be invited to tour the offices and enjoy light refreshments at each stop. CEC will give a prize to the best-decorated department as voted on by faculty, staff, and students (only one vote per person from your personal HU email address to cec@huntington.edu).

Contact the CEC at cec@huntington.edu and let us know if you would like your department or area included in the tour. Each office is asked to supply some type of homemade goodies (cookies, fudge, hot cider, etc.) for the tour on Friday, December 6. We will have morning and afternoon tour hours. Please specify when you would like your department open for visitors: 10:00 a.m. to noon, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., or both times.

Deadline to RSVP for inclusion in the tour is Tuesday, November 26.
