Music Students Shine at NATS competition

Thirteen HU voice students competed at the annual Indiana NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) vocal competition on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Depauw University. The following students were awarded cash prizes for placing at the top of their categories:

Jacob Smith, 1st place Senior Men
Brittany Blazier, 2nd place Senior Women
Ja’Shon Burks, 3rd place Junior Men
Osvaldo Gil, 2nd place Sophomore Men
Preston Shafer, 3rd place Sophomore Men

Also performing were Haley Glinz, Alyssa Kissell, Taylor Lahr, Megan Ness, Audra Rittenhouse, Holly Stanley, Alexandra Witzig, and Amber Zangari. Congratulations to all NATS singers!
