Opportunity to interact with Nobel Prize nominee

Today (Tuesday) Dr. Henry ‘Fritz’ Schaefer will give an autobiographical talk entitled “The Life of a Scientist” at 4 pm in Science Hall 226. The talk will count for elective chapel credit and gives students an opportunity to interact with a scientist who has been nominated for the Nobel Prize several times. As an expert in computational and theoretical chemistry, Dr. Schaeffer is the author of more than 1,300 scientific publications, the majority appearing in the Journal of Chemical Physics or the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Students are also encouraged to attend the Forester Lecture on C.S. Lewis by Dr. Schaefer at 7 pm in the Zurcher Auditorium.
