Need a nanny?

Hey I’m Elaina, I’m 21 years old, and I’m looking for a job as a nanny/babysitter. I live in Huntington Indiana, I have transportation, I am not a smoker, and I have a lot of experience with infants, toddlers, and watching multiple kids together.

I’m very artsy, and creative, can cook, and clean, and I am fine with pets, as long as they aren’t snakes; I have 2 dogs of my own.

I most recently was working as a nanny for a family with 3 girls, ages 2 months until she turned 1 year, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old. They had to move so I can no longer work with them. Before that I was a coach for the middle school girls’ basketball team in Cambria CA; I was also a sitter for a family with a 2 year old and a 5 year old, as well as a sitter for a family with a 3 year old and a 5 year old.

I have been a babysitter since I was 13 years old, watching family friend’s children ranging in ages from newborns to 12 year olds. I have experience watching twins, and taking care of sick kids as well. I worked at a summer day care for two different summers (2007, 2008), with kid’s ages ranging from 3 years old to 11 years old. I was a middle school girls’ basketball coach during the 2010-11 season. I have also done a lot of tutoring; I started in 2004 and then also tutored in 2008, 2009, and 2010, with kids between the ages of 4-14. I also did a career mentorship in 2010, teaching 4th grade, and some Kindergarten.

I am free to begin working any time, and am willing to work any hours from 7am until 9pm, Mondays through Fridays. I’m looking for a job that will hopefully last 2 years while my husband is in school here at HU. My hourly rate is dependent on the number of children I’d be watching; I ask $7.50 an hour for 1-2 children, and for 3 or more I ask $10 an hour.
