Trip Leader References

February 12, 2014 Personal Announcements Comments Off on Trip Leader References Posted By: Grace Kaufman

Colleagues – Some of you may have been asked by a student to fill out a reference for a student for a Trip leader position. It is most likely on a yellow sheet. Some of these references say please send to Jessica Stearns on the bottom. This is a typo.

Please send ALL Trip leader references to Campus Ministries! The deadline is Feb 14
Thank you in advance to anyone who has or is filling out a reference for this or for any student leader application this spring!

Thanks so much

Ida Belle Wray

January 13, 2014 Personal Announcements Comments Off on Ida Belle Wray Posted By: Ashley Smith

I want to pass a long a note that Dr. Paul Fetters received about the passing of Ida Belle Wray. Ida Belle passed away at the hospice center at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She had worked for the Graduate School of Christian Ministries under Dr. Fetters. He called her a “dear lady, efficient secretary, a devoted friend, a friend of students, a loyal colleague, and was missed in the office. She gave well over 100 percent to her work and another 100 percent to her volunteer activities — athletes, foreign students, and graduate students.” According to the family, she did not want a public funeral but “She was an avid bird watcher and obtained permission for her ashes to be scattered where she liked to watch birds- on one of the rolling hills overlooking the Ohio River at Shawnee State Park-very much like Ida Belle.”

Please be in prayer for the family.

Well Done, Adam!

Today marks the two year anniversary of my kidney transplant! Thanks to all of you who have prayed for me and asked after my health. I am doing very well health-wise and feel great except for non-transplant things like aging knees, etc. 🙂 My brother is doing very well also, and in fact yesterday when we talked we both commented on how we almost forget that we even had the surgery. Thanks again for your prayers and love. Gratefully, Dwight
