Hello, friends! Josh and I are moving to our new house on Saturday (Oct. 18) and would appreciate any and all help. We’re starting at 9 a.m. and hope to be finished by 5 p.m. If you can help even for an hour, that would be wonderful. We’re providing food and drinks. Genbu-Kai Indiana karate and kobudo classes will be offered at CHAMPS Academy beginning on July 15. The Head Instructor of Genbu-Kai Indiana is Sensei Dawn Anderson. She is a Nidan (2nd degree) black belt in Genbu-Kai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do and a Shodan (1st degree) black belt in Kobudo Rengo-Kai (Okinawan weapons). She has been training for 10 years, teaching karate to all levels of youth and adults since 2008, and serves as a Genbu-Kai karate judge for state and international level tournaments. … Continue Reading

I am overjoyed to announce the birth of our 8th son Daniel! He was born this morning at 7:04 and weighed 8 lbs. 9.5 oz. This brings our total family here on earth up to thirteen members counting my wife and myself. We are incredibly and amazingly blessed by God! We are happy to announce the birth of Tobias William Babb on March 27 at 3:55 a.m. He measured in at 7 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5″. We are all doing well (if a little sleep deprived) and according to the staff at the birthing center, Toby is healthy, strong and laid back.

We want to thank our fellow faculty and staff for their amazing support and care during the last several weeks with both the sad and joyful times our family has experienced. We are truly blessed by you, our HU family. Thank you for everything!

It is with regret that we announce a need to postpone the Babb baby shower. Due to the loss of Tanner’s father over the weekend, Tanner and Julie will be with family this week. We hope that you will remember them in your prayers in these next coming days. We are working to reschedule the baby shower for a day next week. Please watch for upcoming announcements as we wish to still honor and celebrate this new life, which will be arriving soon!
