Want to donate a kidney?

April 4, 2017 Personal Announcements Comments Off on Want to donate a kidney? Posted By: Dwight Brautigam

Many of you know that I had a successful kidney transplant over five years ago, and that has been and continues to be an amazing blessing. Now it’s my sister’s turn, so if you want to change someone’s life through donating a kidney, this is your chance (I mean, you’ve got two, so one is superfluous anyway!). Her insurance will pay all of your medical costs. Or maybe you know someone who is willing, so pass this along if you’re so inclined. She needs someone with type A or O blood, but would-be donors of other blood types are welcome to become part of a donor exchange. If my sister can recruit a donor or three with blood types she can’t use, she might be able to “trade” you to recipients who have donors they’ve recruited who are not their correct blood type(s). Please contact me for more information if you are interested in being the donor who changes her life as much as my transplant changed mine. Thanks!

It is also a non-discriminatory place for them to keep their work in an archive. It is also a wonderful platform for film and broadcasting students to do video and audio works and present them on the platform. All work is the students, it does not belong to the organization. For more information or any questions at all, please contact Jazlyn Rust at rustj@huntington.edu.

Out of town accommodations for guests

October 3, 2016 Personal Announcements Comments Off on Out of town accommodations for guests Posted By: Lance Clark

My mother, Janet Clark, has a couple of rooms that she is starting to “rent” out on airbnb. It’s only $30/night. If you know anyone coming in for homecoming weekend that needs an affordable and charming place to stay please have them check it out. You’ll love her home because of its craftsman style charm and walking distance to Huntington University. Her place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). It’s only a 20 minute drive to both Fort Wayne and Marion, Indiana, and 25 minutes to Fort Wayne International Airport.
