Social Media Ambassadors Needed

November 6, 2017 Events Comments Off on Social Media Ambassadors Needed Posted By: Marcy Hawkins

HU’s Day of Giving is less than two weeks away. This is a very big day for HU as it will not only raise scholarship dollars for the Forester Fund but also increase the University’s visibility on social media and in our communities. In order to make this day successful, we need social media ambassadors who are willing and able to serve on our behalf. Here are some of the ways you can partner with us that day (and perhaps a few days leading up to Nov. 16):

  • Share, like, and comment on HU’s social media pages (this is not a 24-hour commitment; if you are able to set aside even one hour we want to know)
  • Create your own content to post on your personal social media pages (tagging Huntington University and using #FundAForester
  • Send emails to your peers (especially if they’re HU alums/friends) to encourage them to donate online and participate in the conversation posts
  • Personally donate online that day

To better serve you on this day, we’ll be providing you:

  • With some ideas for content that you can use on your personal pages
  • Graphics and images may also be provided
  • A specific time frame during the day when your posts will be most impactful (we can try our best to work with you around jobs, etc.)

It’s going to be a great day! Can we count on you? If you’d like to be a social media ambassador, please contact Marcy Hawkins at mhawkins@huntington.edu or x4097 by November 8. Thank you for serving HU and its students in so many ways!
