MEN’S BASKETBALL

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2017-18 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athletes and among the list are HU seniors Trevor Lockwood (Lafayette, IN, McCutcheon HS) and Kyle Platt (Huntington, IN, Huntington North HS) and juniors Mason Coverstone (Columbia City, IN, Columbia City HS) and Luke Reust (Markle, IN, Huntington North HS).

The Forester crew is four of 176 NAIA Division II men’s basketball student-athletes named to the list. In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
