Lynette Fager to lead University Relations

I am pleased to announce that Lynette Fager will become Director of Communications. This is the University’s lead role (formerly Director of Marketing) for public relations and marketing. Lynette has been a strong contributor to our promotional efforts as the Web and Social Media Coordinator. She has lead content development on the institutional website and has collaborated with our own IT staff and vendors on search engine optimization. That work along with the social media strategy has helped us develop more foot traffic on the website. Lynette has also led the development of Huntington University Magazine through upgrades and serves HU as an adjunct faculty member and advisor to the Huntingtonian. Prior to returning to work at her alma mater, she served as Editor-in-Chief of Business People Magazine.

This advanced leadership role will allow Lynette to better use her strategic and collaborative mindset to help position the University in our region and beyond. Lynette will lead university relations staff and have primary responsibility for public relations, social media as well as marketing oversight. The University Relations Offices looks forward to continued service to the greater campus community as we build our brand and put our best foot forward in image.

In replacing Lynette, we are starting a search for a writer/project manager and a part-time role for web and media.

Congratulations, Lynette!
